 Series

Scope and Contents

From the Collection:

This collection consists of biographical information and personal papers. Biographical information includes basic summary material such as a personal data sheet, ministry lists, funeral and jubilee materials, teaching certifications, diplomas, and more.

Sister Agnes's personal papers primarily reflect her work as a music instructor and director of the choir and glee club at Saint Scholastica Academy in Canon City and Saint Scholastica High School Chicago. They contain student recital, Glee Club, and concert programs. Her papers also include community liturgical music and Priory Schola concert programs, which show how she used her talent as a vocalist to enrich community life. Finally, personal papers also include materials such as teaching contracts, academic transcripts, and more that demonstrate her dedication to teaching. A typed interview provides a more intimate perspective on her childhood and life as a woman religious in the twentieth and twenty-first centuries.
