Scope and Contents
This series is comprised of letters from Sister Mary Benet McKinney, OSB and Sister Francis Marie Harwas, OSB, principals of Saint Joseph School and donors Louann and Ted Van Zelst regarding educational development and a scholarship fund that helped students with Catholic high school tuition. There is also a 1998 letter from Louann Van Zelst returning this historical correspondence to Sister Mary Benet McKinney, OSB, as prioress of the Benedictine Sisters of Chicago.
