Scope and Contents
This series contains correspondence, lecture programs, and book lists related to Sister Agnes Therese's work and ministry in the teaching of blind students, teaching braille and other special education courses to both the blind and the sighted, and as a student of braille and the conditions of visual impairment more generally. Sister taught at Saint Hilary School, the first diocesan school in the country specifically directed to instruct the blind and visually impaired.
Notable correspondents in this series include the Archbishop of Chicago, the National Catholic Educational Association, and former President Richard Nixon.
