Scope and Contents
This series includes homilies Sister Karen Bland, OSB gave for the Benedictine Sisters and friends, as well as at parishes in Chicago and Colorado. (Sister Karen Bland's homilies as prioress are with her Prioress' papers) Manuscripts includes, speeches, presentations and articles. This series includes Sister Karen's doctoral dissertation from the University of Colorado at Boulder, on an elementary school bilingual program as well as personal correspondence. (Sister Karen's correspondence as principal of Saint Scholastica Academy and prioress of the Benedictine Sisters of Chicago is with those collections)
