Scope and Contents

This sub-series holds an article written for The New World by Mother Ottilia Hoevelor, OSB in April 1900, describing the establishment of the new community and opening the high school in 1874. A program from the Diamond Jubilee was used in the 1961 Centennial Exhibit #104 at St. Scholastica Monastery. It includes a brief history and statistical report prepared by Mother Ottilia in 1962, the booklet 1874-1974 Share Our Joy, and a pamplet Historic Nauvoo, Illinois, with a map showing original town buildings.There is also a program from a ritual the Sisters did October 15, 2014 to commemorate 140 year anniversary.
