Scope and Contents
This collection conatins 1 hanging file of personal data and biographical information, and 1 box of personal papers. The box of personal papers begins with materials from St. Scholastica High School Sodality and CISCORA in 1935 and goes through letters as late as 1997. It includes correspondence, awards, and reflections. The family material is related to her brother, Brother J. Philip Lynch, FSC (1915-1975). Sr. Catherine's work at the Archdiocese of Chicago School Study Commission in the 1970s is documented along with copies of two publications, Directions for the Future for Catholic Schools in the Archdiocese of Chicago (1971), and School Policies and Administrative Guidelines for Elementary Schools (1979). Oblate Kathy Leuschner Riordan and her husband Bill were good friends of Sr. Catherine and they have contributed correspondence, undated study notes on the Rule of St. Benedict, and Sr. Catherine's personally annotated copy of Self Renewal (1963) by James W. Gardner.

Sisters' papers are restricted for 50 years after the Sister's death, until November 24th, 2055. Photographs, previously published, and widely distributed materials are unrestricted.
