Some of the correspondence in this series consists of undated handmade cards. It also includes several letters from Cardinal Joseph Bernardin, for whom Sister Mary Ann Fleischmann, OSB prayed. It begins with a letter from Mother Imelda Fischer, OSB as Sister Mary Ann prepared to journey to Chicago and ends with a letter (annotated by Sister Vivian Ivantic, OSB) from the Catholic Pastoral Center in Springfield, Illinois regarding their donation of materials to Sister's papers.
