Biographical / Historical

Sister Katherine Callero, OSB was born in Chicago in 1936. She entered the Benedictine Sisters in September, 1954. Her date of final profession was August, 1959. She taught at St. Hilary, St. Symphorosa, Queen of All Saints in Chicago, and St. Michael in Canon City, Colorado. Sister Katherine began nurse's training at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge in September of 1971. She requested to be dispensed from her vows in October, 1971 and her departure was November 12, 1971. She continued her nurse's training at Lutheran General Hospital.
