Scope and Contents
This collection includes a personal data sheet, next of kin list, ministry lists, certificates, and education transcripts. Also provided are jubilee and funeral prayer cards, a funeral homily, and several obituaries. There are several photographs and a folder of person correspondence.

Biographical / Historical
Sister Annella Clifford, OSB was an only child born in Evanston, Illinois on May 18, 1907. She was orphaned at an early age. She attended St. Scholastica High School in Chicago as a boarding student. She worked in the business world until she entered the Benedictine Community in October, 1928. She made her final profession in 1933, celebrated her golden jubilee in 1980, and her diamond jubilee in 1990. She attended Bush Conservatory of music and taught piano for a number of years. She studied at Depaul and Loyola Universities, and Catholic University of America which prepared her to teach the intermediate grades in Illinois, Colorado, and Arizona. She was secretary to Sister Dolores Schorsch, OSB and Father Alexander Schorsch, authors of "A Course in Religion for the Elementary Schools." Sister Annella was the registrar at St. Scholastica High School in Chicago for 8 years. She died on October 8, 1998 at the age of 91. She is buried in All Saints Cemetery.
