Scope and Contents
This collection includes several letters, thank you cards, correspondence outlining her journeys to different ministry assignments, ministry materials from Queen of the Rosary parish, various notebooks, the Rule of Saint Benedict, and a religious diary of quotations and notations. Also included are two diplomas (DePaul University and Loyola University) several certificates, recognitions, religious education pamphlets, parish bulletins, evangelization resources, manuals, and worship aids.
It also includes a personal data sheet, next of kin listing, ministry lists, educational certificates, and credentials. Also included are jubilee worship aids, obituaries, prayer cards, and photographs.

Conditions Governing Access
Sisters' papers are restricted for 50 years after the Sister's death, until October 12th, 2065. Photographs, previously published, and widely distributed materials are unrestricted.
Biographical / Historical
Sister Mildred Zember, OSB was born in Colorado on May 17, 1925. She and her siblings were raised on a farm. After her first year of college, she felt called to religious life, and a priest suggested the Benedictine Sisters of Chicago. She entered the community in September 1944 and professed her final vows on August 16, 1949. Sr. Mildred spent many years teaching primary grades at Queen of All Saints, St. Hilary, Mother of God, St. Symphorosa and was assigned to schools in Pueblo and Salida Colorado. She became very involved in Religious Education and became a certified director and received her Masters Degree in Religious Education. She served as the director of religious education at Queen of the Rosary Parish for several years. She stayed very active assisting with the Oblate program, Camp San Benito and performed clerical tasks at the Monastery. She died on October 12th, 2015. She was interred in All Saints Cemetery.
