Scope and Contents
This collection has a sampling of oral histories from Oblates of St. Scholastica Monastery, Chicago, Illinois. It holds the transcripts and some ancilliary materials. The audio recordings of the interviews are in the Digital Recordings Collection.

The contents of this collection are restricted for 50 years after the death of the subject of the oral history interview unless otherwise specified.
Biographical / Historical
At the 40th anniversay of the Oblate Program, St. Scholastica Monastery in Chicago, Illinois partnered with DePaul University to conduct oral histories of Oblates and establish a timeline of the program. The students also created posters with the timeline, photographs, and excerpts from interviews which were displayed at the Testimonial Dinner in June 2017. Amy Tyson of the DePaul University history program guided her students in the collecting and transcribing of oral histories that year and in subsequent years.
