Scope and Contents
This collection includes obituaries, a photograph, jubilee materials, prayer cards, and a note to Sister Martha instructing her on what measurements to take for habit fitting. This collection also includes photocopies of Sister's vows, birth certificate, baptismal record, and other immigration documents in German.

Biographical / Historical
Sister Henrietta Dutli, OSB was born Elizabeth Dutli on October 25th, 1874 in Switzerland, one of 19 children. She immigrated to the United States in 1893, settling in Pueblo, Colorado. Sister entered the Chicago community on November 19th, 1898, and made perpetual vows on September 3rd, 1903.
Sister Henrietta taught at Immaculate Conception School in Kanakakee, Illinois, and at Saint George School in Chicago for over 19 years. She also served at Saint Mary School in Pueblo as both directress and superior. In addition to teaching, Sister worked as the procurator at the motherhouse. She died on December 5th, 1951 at the age of 77, following a long illness. She is the first member of the community to be buried in All Saints Cemetery in Desplaines, Illinois.
