Biographical / Historical
Sister Bonaventure Flaig, OSB was born Lulu Flaig on October 23rd, 1887 in Baltimore, Maryland. She entered the community on July 26th, 1902. She left the novitiate on August 7th, 1904 in order to help her mother at home. Her brother, a cleric at St. Vincent's, made vows on his deathbed before passing of tuberculosis.
