Biographical / Historical
Sister Eugene Frank, OSB, the younger blood sister of Sister Agatha Frank, was born the Magdalena in Allegheny, Pennsylvania on April 11th, 1860. She joined the community in 1889, making her final profession on January 1st, 1894.
Sister taught at St. Joseph School in Chicago, and spent some time in Canon City, Colorado. However, or most of her life she served in internal ministries, including being charged with the Altar Bread Department for several years.
She died on December 29th, 1936, of a stroke and is buried in Chicago at the St. Boniface Cemetery.
