Biographical / Historical
Sister Anna Grimm, OSB was born Bertha on March 9th, 1872 in Bavaria, Germany. She joined the community on November 19th, 1891, making her perpetual vows in 1897.
Sister taught at St. George School in Chicago and St. Michael School in Delta, Colorado, upon it's opening in 1923.
When she returned from Colorado in 1928, she was very ill and taken directly to St. Francis Hospital. She died at 56 years old on September 30th, 1928, and is buried in Calvary Cemetery in Evanston, Illinois.
