Biographical / Historical
Sister Marguerite Halverson, OSB was born Laverne (La Verne), on October 28th, 1924 in Chicago, Illinois. She entered the community on September 23rd, 1947, making her first temporary profession on June 26th, 1949.
Sister left the community on June 26th, 1952, before reentering on August 29th, 1953. She left the community again on December 17th, 1953. Her married name is Mrs. Carl Damlos (Laverne Damlos). She died in April of 2015.
