This collection consists of biographical information. It includes a personal data sheet, community obituaries, a prayer card from her funeral, photographs, an "In Memoriam" written by Mother Imelda Fischer, and a photocopied record of baptism in German from St. Joseph's Church Chicago.

Biographical / Historical
Sister Harlindis Hermann, OSB was born Margaret on April 9th, 1880 in Chicago, Illinois to German parents. She entered the commmunity on May 24th, 1906, making her final profession on January 6th, 1911.
Sister taught at St. Mary's School in Pueblo, and for more than 19 years at St. Joseph School in Chicago. Often her classes were attended by more than 100 students. In community, she was known as "one who was distinguished for her many acts of charity."
Sister died on March 31st, 1929 aged 49 at Murphy Memorial Hospital, and is buried in Calvary Cemetery. Her funeral was noted by the community at the time for being exceptionally well-attended.
