Biographical / Historical
Sister Edward Horen, OSB was born Rita Rose on November 23rd, 1927 in Waukegan, Illnois. She entered the community on September 5th, 1948, making her final profession on August 17th, 1953.
Sister attended DePaul and Loyola Universities before serving as a teacher at Queen of All Saints, St. Symphorosa, St. Joseph, St. George, and St. Michaels (Canon City).
Sister Edward left the commuity on August 27th, 1966, and died on August 24th, 2009.
