This collection consists of biographical information. It includes only a personal data sheet, photocopied first and final vow sheets, obituaries, a photograph, and remembrances of Sister Hilda by Sister Geraldine Stock recorded in 1982.

Biographical / Historical
Sister Hilda Jahn, OSB was born Gertrude on August 2nd, 1883 in Sypniewa, Prussia (now Sypniewo, Poland). She entered the community on December 27th, 1900, making her first profession in Latin on August 23rd, 1902. She made her final vows in English in Canon City, Colorado on August 24th, 1905.
Despite profound disabilities, including a potentially "lame" arm, Sister served as a teacher for the upper elementary grades at St. Scholastica Academy in Canon City.
Sister died at the age of 27 in Chicago on December 7th, 1910, and is buried in St. Boniface Cemetery.
