This collection consists of limited biographical data. It includes a personal data sheet, community obituaries and short biographies, phototcopies of news clippings announcing Sister's death, photographs, and a photocopy of a document written in a German cursive (possibly a vow sheet or sacramental certificate) dated 1884.

Biographical / Historical
Sister Ebba Kriegleder, OSB was born Catherine on May 2nd, 1865 in Tiefenbach, Bavaria (now Germany). Sister entered the community on August 17th, 1892, and was invested on August 27th, 1893. Sister made her first vows on August 28th, 1894, and her final profession on August 29th, 1898.
Sister served primarily in parochial school convents, charged with domestic duties such as housekeeping and cooking. She was missioned to Saint Scholastica Academy in Canon City, Saint Mary and Saint Anthony in Pueblo, Saint George in Chicago, and Mother of God in Waukegan, Illinois.
Sister died in Chicago on October 9th, 1944, and is buried in Calvary Cemetery in Evanston, Illinois.
