This collection consists of limited biographical information. It includes annotated prayer cards, a personal data sheet, a next of kin listing, funeral materials, biographical notes, and photographs. The prayer cards were given to Sister by other Benedictine Sisters celebrating various events.

Biographical / Historical
Sister Mary Bride Coyne, OSB was born Bridget on March 19, 1904 in Galway, Ireland. She entered the Benedictine Sisters in February 27th, 1929. She professed temporary vows on August 28th, 1930, and final vows on August 28th, 1933. She celebrated her silver jubilee in August of 1955.
Sister Mary Bride spent her 42 years of religious life at the Saint Scholastica Priory, serving meals in the school dining room and cafeteria of Saint Scholastica High School. Sister was especially loved by all the student, and extremely meticulous in the performance of her duties. Her older sister, Sister Angela Coyne, OSB was also a Benedictine Sister. Like her sister, Sister Mary Bride died in Ireland on August 17, 1972. Her body was brought back to America and was interred in All Saints Cemetery.
