Biographical / Historical
Sister Cornelia Cronin, OSB was born Margaret Genevieve on November 17th, 1886 in Leadville, Colorado. She attended Saint Scholastica Academy in Canon City, graduating in 1905. Sister entered the Benedictine Community in September, 1908 at the age of 21. She professed temporary vows in January, 1910, and final vows in July, 1913.
Sister especially cared for the young children at the Academy. She died on May 2nd, 1915 at the age of 28 in Canon City, Colorado. Sister is buried in Lakeside Cemetery. Sister Sebastian Cronin, OSB was her natural sister.
