Biographical / Historical

Sister Cornelia Cronin, OSB was born on November 17, 1886 in Leadville, Colorado. She attended the Academy in Canon City and graduated in 1905. She entered the Benedictine Community in September, 1908 at the age of 21. She professed temporary vows in January, 1910, and final vows in July, 1913. She cared for the young children at the Academy. Sister Cornelia died on May 2, 1915 at the early age of 28 in Canon City and is buried in Lakeside Cemetery. Sister Sebastian Cronin, OSB was her natural sister.
