Biographical / Historical
Mary Lee Cushing (Sister Mary Luke Cushing, OSB) was born on April 15, 1943. Sister Mary Luke entered the Benedictine Sisters on September 12, 1961. She professed temporary vows on August 16, 1963. She taught first grade at Queen of All Saints School in Chicago. Her first grade class participated in an Informal Reading Therapy program in 1965-1966. Sister Mary Luke Cushing, OSB left the community on July 12, 1967.
