Biographical / Historical
Sister Constance Abeler, OSB was born in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. She entered the Benedictine Community on December 8, 1902. Perpetual vows were professed on September 4, 1907 in the Chapel of St. Scholastica on Ridge Boulevard. Sister Constance taught piano in Chicago, Pueblo, and Canon City, Colorado. Sister suddenly at a young age (49) died on February 1, 1922 and is buried in the Lakeside Cemetery in Canon City.
