Biographical / Historical
Sister Justina Adam, OSB was born 1864 in Detroit, Michigan. Due to her obligation to caring for her aging parents, Mary Adam entered the Benedictine Sisters in 1907 when she was 43 years old. Sister Justina's principle service to the community was as an infirmarian. Even though she experienced ill health she served the community until her death on January 21, 1952 at the age of 87. She is buried in All Saints Cemetery.
