Scope and Contents
This collection includes a personal data sheet with minimal information and data. A letter was written by Sister Vivian Ivantic, OSB to the Nauvoo Community to ascertain information on Sister Walburga. Two copies of a vow formula are listed for November 13, 1862. A small sheet of paper provided some general dates, and birth place, and vow completion.

Biographical / Historical
It seems that (Marie Bauer) Sister Walburga Bauer, OSB was born in Bavaria, Germany in 1840. Sister Walburga came from Erie as a novice. She was professed on November 13, 1862. She left the community in 1865. There is a notation that Sister Walburga as of 1868 left with some other sisters for St. Joseph, Minnesota.
