Biographical / Historical
Sister Lucina Brehm, OSB (Mary Cora Brehm) was born in Buffalo Grove, Illinois on September 2, 1886. She entered the Benedictine Sisters in January 1910, made triennial vows in July 1911, and perpetual vows in 1914. She celebrated her golden jubilee in 1961. Her community life was spent in the many needed quiet and humble services. She assisted in the sewing room and as a cook. Sister Lucina died in April 1963 at the age of 76 and is buried at All Saints Cemetery.
