From 1967 to 1969, Sister Fabian served as an administrator at Saint Joseph convent in Tulsa, Oklahoma, appointed by the Holy See. This series contains correspondence related to this role and her reflections at the end of the position.

The account was written and compiled by Sr. Vivian Ivantic, OSB based on contributions and reflections by OSB Sisters Fabian Garrett, Jean Marie Matern, and Mary Martin Gehl.
