This sub-series is primarily comprised of lists of Sisters who taught vacation schools in Alamosa, Colorado. The Benedictine Sisters of Chicago had a large presence in the town, especially earlier in the 20th century. A pamphlet about the history of the Sacred Heart Church, a copy of some pages from "Our Community," and an Archives Newsletter are also included.
Gunnison, Colo.
This sub-series contains a list of Sisters who ran vacation schools in Gunnison, Colorado, for over 20 years. Also inlcuded is a picture of one group of pupils, although the year is unknown, and a map highlighting the town's location.

Beyond a slip of paper listing the Sisters who taught vacation schools in Pitkin, Colorado, this sub-series also contains a photograph of a preist with five pupils from the town. The year this image was captured is unknown.

Sister Gertrude kept careful records of all the pupils she taught throughout her career. This record-keeping spirit extended to what she was taught in her early days in the community, her teaching materials, copious notes on yearly retreats held at the monastery, and correspondence from friends and family.
