Snapshot Album #15B, 1977-1988
Within this album, there are several series. They include construction of school building, demolition of West building, Indoors, Outdoors, Camp Sam Benito, residence of Sisters at 602, and white cottage at 502 Pike. A series of special interest is a set of Polaroids of chairs reupholstered by Sr. Karen Bland, OSB. and the sisters.
Snapshot Album III, circa 1910-1983
A note included with the album states: The snapshots on the next three pages were taken at SS. Benedict and Scholastica on Orleans Street. A careful scrutiny of the pictures will show the entire yard or "garden enclose" as well as the tracks of the elevated train. There are photographs of community life, visits, work, and events like graduations and jubilees in Illinois and Colorado.
Telluride, Colo., 1968 - 1989
This sub-series contains a list of Sisters who taught in Telluride, Colorado, during several summers between 1931 and 1978. Three news stories about St. Patrick Church appear alongside a postcard, map of the area, and some images taken by Sr. Eleanore Hillenbrand, OSB, during an archives trip she and Sr. Vivian Ivantic, OSB, took to Colorado in 1989.
