Alamosa, Colo., 1937 - 1991
This sub-series is primarily comprised of lists of Sisters who taught vacation schools in Alamosa, Colorado. The Benedictine Sisters of Chicago had a large presence in the town, especially earlier in the 20th century. A pamphlet about the history of the Sacred Heart Church, a copy of some pages from "Our Community," and an Archives Newsletter are also included.
Blende, Colo.
This sub-series contains an archive note listing Sr. Mary Schartung, OSB, as the only Sister to teach a vacation school in Blende, Colorado. She taught in the town during the summer of 1949 or 1950.
Calcite, Colo., 1962
This sub-series contains a couple papers with information concerning the Benedictine Sisters of Chicago's vacation schools in Calcite, Colorado. Also included is a special edition of the Canon City Daily Record from 1962 celebrating the municipality's centennial.
Craig, Colo.
All this sub-series contains is a short list of which Sisters led summer schools of religion in Craig, Colorado, along with which years they taught sessions between when they first entered the town in 1937 and when they finally left in 1973. Also included is a map highlighting where Craig is located in Colorado.
Elkhead, Colo.

La Junta, Colo., 1941
This sub-series contains a list of Sisters who taught vacation schools in La Junta, Colorado, from the 1930s to the 1940s. It is unclear what years some Sisters were in the town, so there may have been schools into the 1950s. An image of Sr. Anita Sheid, OSB, standing outside with a priest and several pupils appears alongside postcards of a scout troop nicknamed the "Koshare Indian Dancers," and a short book detailing the history of the Church in La Junta from 1885 to 1986.
Pueblo, Colo., 1959

Salida, Colo., 1937
This sub-series is relatively slim considering the Benedictine Sisters of Chicago spent over half the 20th century teaching vacation schools in Salida, Colorado.
