Sister Thecla Franz, OSB biographical informtation , 1927-1985

This collection includes biographical information, photographs, and papers. Included are two ID cards (St. Scholastica High School and Benedictine Monastery), 2 passports (one German and one American), nearest of kin, prayer cards, photocopied news articles and a yearbook picture, an obituary and short biography written by the community, a jubilee invitation, correspondence and writings (some in German), and worship aids for her funeral services. Many of these materials detail her involvment in the Altar Bread Department, which closed in 1978.
