Scope and Contents

This series contains photographs of Sister Celestine's artworks and designs; including her manuscript art, paintings, Saint Scholastica Monestary Chicago chapel stained glass windows, pottery, textile work, altar canvas painting, and porcelain Stations of the Cross. Some of these photgraphs constitute the only remaining depictions of sister's lost artworks. For example, her painting of Esther has been missing for decades.
