Scope and Contents

This series consists of photographs from and a thank-you note regarding the visit of Sister Marilyn Wolfgram, OSB to the Monte Cassino Abbey in Italy in 1996. Mother Theresa Krug left the United States for Italy in 1902, transferring her vows to the Monastery of Saint Scholastica in Monte Cassino. She was elected abbess of the community there, and remained in Italy until her death. She was buried in the chapel of the Cassino Cemetery in 1917.
