Photographs and Reverend Father Dom Mauro Inguanez, circa 1870-1955
Scope and Contents
This series includes a prayer card from the funeral of Reverend Father Dom Maurus Inguanez, as well as envelopes addressed to him. Reverend Inguanez returned Mother Theresa Krug's ring after her death at her request, and visited the Chicago community around 1940; information which is included in notes stored with the materials. Also included in this series are photographs of Wallie Kleinstuck and "Isma," listed as proteges of Mother Theresa, and photographs of Mr. and Mrs. Kuper of Balitmore, potentially Mother Theresa's brother-in-law and natural sister.

A note included with these materials states that they were donated by Sister Clement Marie in 1980. This note also states that "the prelate under the canopy is a bishop, the uncle of Dom Mauro Inguanez." This may be referring to a postcard featuring various prelates, including Abbot Boniface Krug, which is stored in the "Archabbot Boniface Krug, OSB" series of this collection (although this item was not found together with the other materials in the "Photographs and Reverend Father Dom Mauro Inguanez" series).
