This series contains 1 hanging file of biographical and personal data, and 1 box of personal papers.

The box of personal papers contains materials related to Sr. Johnette Sawyer’s life in community and her pastoral and liturgical work in parishes throughout the Diocese of Pueblo, Colorado. These parishes include Sacred Heart– Alamosa, Saint Paul the Apostle – Pueblo West, Saint Leander – Pueblo, Shrine of Saint Therese – Pueblo, the San Juan Community- Monte Vista, Del Norte, Center and Saguache, and Sacred Heart Cathedral-Pueblo. There is some correspondence, including letters from Bishop Charles Buswell of Colorado and Sister’s reports on her life in Colorado. It includes two sets of photographs taken by Sr. Johnette to document the restoration of Sacred Heart Cathedral and the Monte Vista/ Del Norte area to be shared with her Benedictine community in Chicago.
