Sister Mary Ann Fleischmann, OSB academic records and certificates, 1923-1989

Sister Mary Ann Fleischmann, OSB's papers include biographical information, worship aids from milestones of her community life, and photographs of her with family and friends, particularly reunion photographs from St. Mary's Academy in Quincy, Illinois. Two photos show an ofrenda created in her honor in November 2000, shortly after her death. The reflection for her funeral was given by prioress Sister Jane Smith, OSB. There is limited material related to her ministries; it includes pages of programs from community theater productions by various groups in Quincy, Illinois, awards, and devotional items. A highlight is the needlepoint cover for her Jerusalem Bible marking her Golden Jubilee. It is unclear if Sister Mary Ann, who was accomplished at needlework, made this herself or if it was a treasured gift.
