This collection consists of 1 hanging file of biographical information and personal data and 1 box of personal papers. The box contains Sr. Dorothy Van Alstyne's diplomas, educational certificates, and awards. There is information about her family roots in Canajoharie, New York, a letter to Sr. Dorothy from her father which includes a poem he wrote for her mother on their 34th wedding anniversary. There are samples of her writing from her novitiate year, a manual of accounting practices for St. Scholastica Academy in Canon City, Colorado, and a personal reflection from a community meeting.
