This sub-series contains responses to Sr. Vivian from elected American officials about various domestic and foreign political concerns. Topics include the Educational Choice Act, the wars in Nicaragua and El Salvador, and the United States Army School of the Americas at Fort Benning.

This sub-series contains photographs from the dedication of Well #332 in Buwekula, Central Region, Uganda, in honor of the Benedictine Sisters of Chicago and of Sister Vivian Ivantic, OSB on her 104th birthday.

This sub-series contains correspondence and other documents pertaining to Sister's work to help provide braille reading materials and audio books to blind and visually impaired persons. She supported organizations such as the Catholic Guild for the Blind and the Chicago Public Library.

This sub-series contains correspondence, news clippings, documents regarding Sister Vivian's material donations to various organizations around the world. Among the materials donated are beads for rosary making, clothing, and books. Organizations donated to include the Bohemian Home for the Aged, the Maryknoll Sisters, the Benedictine Nuns of the Eucharistic King in the Phillipines, the Ark Chicago, and St. Mary's School in Ragasthan, India.

This series contains personal and professional travel itineraries, notes, and reflections. Sr. Vivian travelled to Europe with her sister Agnes, on a cruise, and to Erie, Pennsylvania (and across the United States) on archival work trips with Sr. Eleanore Hillenbrand, OSB.

Includes a contract with the Mother of God School for Sister Vivian's position as a librarian, a job description and resignation (as is monastic norm on the election of a new Prioress) for her work as Community Archivist, a possible note on the printing of the Archives Newsletter, and a proposed Archives budget.

Materials are from her work as a librarian at Mother of God School and Saint Scholastica High School, as the secretary for the Northern Illinois Unit of the Catholic Library Association, and as the chairperson for the Library Science Section of the American Benedictine Academy (ABA).
