Biography
The Sisters were missioned to Nauvoo from St. Scholastica Monastery in Chicago. They immediately founded St. Scholastica Academy there in 1874. This foundation became an independent house in 1879.

Saint Scholastica Academy collection
The oldest item in this collection is a photograph of a group of students in front of Saint Mary's Academy circa 1900. The 105 label on the photograph was assigned by Sister Ignatia O'Connor for her 1961 Centennial exhibit. Most of the material is from the late 20th century.
