The booklets tell the life of the Benedictine saints and founders or novenas (9 consecutive days of prayer for a special intention) and other devotions. These booklets were used to teach and to enhance the prayer of Sisters, their students, and others connected with the community. The 2002 memorial booklet of the sesquicentennial of Benedictine women in North America contains poems by Sister Judith Elms, OSB (1931-2015), Sister Suzanne Zuercher (1931-2014), and Sister Benita Coffey (1931-)....

The holy cards represent Benedictine Saints as well as other saints. Some holy cards represent exerpts from the Rule of Saint Benedict or other Catholic themes. They often have artwork on one side and a prayer on the back, accomodating different prayer styles.
