This sub-series is primarily comprised of lists of Sisters who taught vacation schools in Alamosa, Colorado. The Benedictine Sisters of Chicago had a large presence in the town, especially earlier in the 20th century. A pamphlet about the history of the Sacred Heart Church, a copy of some pages from "Our Community," and an Archives Newsletter are also included.

This sub-series is mostly comprised of papers listing Sisters who taught vacation schools in Pueblo, Colorado. The only other material included is a 1959 news clipping mentioning Sr. Walburg Matern, OSB.

Scope and Contents From the Collection:

Included in this collection are photographs of Sister Georgine throughout her lifetime, including those taken while she was a young student at St. Scholastica Academy. Photographs also show many of her banners. Other artwork present in her file includes her work with calligraphy and small felt works. Personal data in this collection includes a next of kin list, newspaper articles, correspondences, education credentials and certificates, obituaries, and worship aids.

Scope and Contents From the Collection: Sister Mary Ann Fleischmann, OSB's papers include biographical information, worship aids from milestones of her community life, and photographs of her with family and friends, particularly reunion photographs from St. Mary's Academy in Quincy, Illinois. Two photos show an ofrenda created in her honor in November 2000, shortly after her death. The reflection for her funeral was given by prioress Sister Jane Smith, OSB.
