Beyond some archival papers regarding who taught vacation schools in Silver Park, Colorado, and what years they were present, this sub-series also contains five photos from sometime in the 1930s or 1940s, although all are undated. Three other photos appear in a photocopy, but the location of the original prints is unknown.

This sub-series contains a list of the three Sisters who taught vacation schools in Stoneham, Colorado, during the summers of 1936 and 1936. According to Sr. Pancratoa Yede, OSB, the town was very poor and plagued by drought during her time there. A page from "Our Community" containing two paragraphs about Stoneham is also included, and may suggest another vacation school was taught in the town during the summer of 1937.

Scope and Contents This sub-series starts with a list of Sisters who taught vacation schools in Westcliffe, Colorado, nearly every year from 1930 to 1965. Several news clippings relating to Our Lady of the Assumption appear next, including a 1945 story from The Southern Colorado Register about the summer school of religion. Some other documents revolve around the parish's establishment and how the Benedictine Sisters of Chicago became involved. Westcliffe is where the community taught its first vacation school...
