This sub-series is primarily comprised of lists of Sisters who taught vacation schools in Alamosa, Colorado. The Benedictine Sisters of Chicago had a large presence in the town, especially earlier in the 20th century. A pamphlet about the history of the Sacred Heart Church, a copy of some pages from "Our Community," and an Archives Newsletter are also included.

Scope and Contents This sub-series contains a sheet of oral history stories from the Benedictine Sisters of Chicago's time in Crested Butte, Colorado. Originally St. Patrick Church, Sisters would later run vacation schools out of Queen of All Saints. The latter's architecture was beautiful enough to warrent a story in the Southern Colorado Register, which is also included. This sub-series contains a list of Sisters who taught vacation schools in La Junta, Colorado, from the 1930s to the 1940s. It is unclear what years some Sisters were in the town, so there may have been schools into the 1950s. An image of Sr. Anita Sheid, OSB, standing outside with a priest and several pupils appears alongside postcards of a scout troop nicknamed the "Koshare Indian Dancers," and a short book detailing the history of the Church in La Junta from 1885 to 1986.
