Alamosa, Colo., 1937 - 1991
This sub-series is primarily comprised of lists of Sisters who taught vacation schools in Alamosa, Colorado. The Benedictine Sisters of Chicago had a large presence in the town, especially earlier in the 20th century. A pamphlet about the history of the Sacred Heart Church, a copy of some pages from "Our Community," and an Archives Newsletter are also included.
Craig, Colo.
All this sub-series contains is a short list of which Sisters led summer schools of religion in Craig, Colorado, along with which years they taught sessions between when they first entered the town in 1937 and when they finally left in 1973. Also included is a map highlighting where Craig is located in Colorado.
Delta, Colo.
This slim sub-series contains nothing more than a sheet of paper listing Sisters who taught at vacation schools in Delta, Colorado, where the Benedictine Sisters of Chicago were stationed from 1950 until 1974. In addition to summer schools of religion, some Sisters also worked at St. Michael School.
Elkhead, Colo.
This series contains two sheets of paper pertaining to a vacation school in Elkhead, Colorado. All seven students were siblings who were taught in their family's home by Sisters during the summer of 1942 and 1943.

This sub-series contains a slip of paper listing several Sisters who taught vacation schools in Lafayette, Colorado, during the 1940s and 1950s. Also included are a couple photographs from that period and a couple more from a 1989 archives trip to Colorado.
Louisville, Colo., 1989
This sub-series is relatively thick when compared to how little is known about the Benedictine Sisters of Chicago's time in Louisville, Colorado. A paper lists four Sisters who taught two vacation schools, but the years of each are unknown. Also included is a multi-page document about Catholicism in the region, which mentions Louisville, and the catalog for a set of negatives shot during a 1989 archives trip to Colorado.

This sub-series is comprised of a document listing Sr. Mercedes Moore, OSB, as the only teacher at a vacation school in Meeker, Colorado, which took place sometime between 1937 and 1941, and a map highlighting the town's location on a map.
