This series contains four Archives Newsletters published in 2007 explaining the history of the Benedictine Sisters of Chicago's vacation schools in Illinois, Arizona, and Colorado. Each town is listed, along with its parish, and which Sisters worked where when. A seperate document lists about how many pupils attended each summer school. Also included are some maps highlighting where Sisters worked in the region.

This sub-series is primarily comprised of lists of Sisters who taught vacation schools in Alamosa, Colorado. The Benedictine Sisters of Chicago had a large presence in the town, especially earlier in the 20th century. A pamphlet about the history of the Sacred Heart Church, a copy of some pages from "Our Community," and an Archives Newsletter are also included.

This thin sub-series contains an archive note describing which Sisters taught vacation schools in Alta Vista, Colorado, from 1940 to an unknown point in the 1950s. A passage from "Our Community" is included as a supplement beneath the section for 1942. It explains where Sr. Walburg Mater, OSB, and Sr. Gabrielle Pierik, OSB, taught in the town.

The sub-series for Aspen, Colorado, contains a map highlighting the city's location and photographs from the 1989 archives research trip. No information about the Benedictine Sisters of Chicago's vacation schools is included.

This sub-series contains a list of Sisters who taught vacation schools in Avondale, Colorado, in 1942, 1945, and 1946. A picture of the class of 1945 stand outside the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart with the parish's pastor, along with a news story examining the history of the church are also included.

This sub-series is comprised of a list of Sisters who taught vacation schools in Belleplaine, Colorado, along with a news clipping about St. Anne Church, and several photographs of the parish over the years, including one of Sr. Mary Bede Beck, OSB, standing outside the church with her pupils.

This sub-series contains an archive note listing Sr. Mary Schartung, OSB, as the only Sister to teach a vacation school in Blende, Colorado. She taught in the town during the summer of 1949 or 1950.

This sub-series lists 1935 and 1935 as the years the Benedictine Sisters of Chicago taught vacation schools in Bristol, Colorado. Sr. Edith Rabida, OSB, along with someone named Holly taught the former, while Sr. Maurus Becker, OSB, taught the latter.

This series contains a folder for each town in Colorado where Sisters taught summer schools of religion. Most contain a list of which Sisters taught in a town and when, while some include much more material, such as photographs, news clippings, pamphlets, etc.

This sub-series is comprised of several Colorado maps, all of which mark towns where Sisters taught summer schools of religion. Some indicate where smaller towns not shown on the maps are located, while others have brief notes written in the margins.
