Erie, Colo., 1989

 Sub-Series — Box: OSBCHI-C-100-1, Folder: 28

Scope and Contents

This sub-series contains a document listing the Sisters who taught vacation schools in Erie, Colorado, along with which years they were present in the town. Unlike the lists in many other sub-series, this paper is a description of Sisters' living quarters during the summer of 1943 and 1944. Also included is an image of Sr. Vivian Ivantic, OSB; Sr. Jeanne Hegarty, OSB; and Marion Greely, St. Scholastica Church's caretaker, outside the parish during a 1989 archives trip to Colorado. A framed picture of the Church was gifted to the Benedictine Sisters of Chicago by Greely, although the location of the image is unknown.
