Scope and Contents The holy cards represent Benedictine Saints as well as other saints. Some holy cards represent exerpts from the Rule of Saint Benedict or other Catholic themes. They often have artwork on one side and a prayer on the back, accomodating different prayer styles. Holy cards are also printed for a Sister's jubilee or funeral and distributed at those celebrations. Holy cards of individual Sisters are in their files, but samples may appear in this collection. Scope and Contents From the Collection:

Within this collection of felt banners there is a set of banners made for the church year, banners with phrases associated with the church and encouraging faith, and banners with religious symbols. Common symbols in this collection include the white dove, the Chi Ro symbol, and the symbols for the Lord's Supper like wheat, grapes, and a chalice. Sister Georgine created banners throughout her life using a combination of felt and burlap.
