The nine scrapbook albums in this series document the archival research trip of June 12th - July 3rd that Sister Vivian Ivantic, OSB made to Colorado, mainly in search of material related to the Summer Schools of Religion that Sisters held in small and larger towns in Colorado. The scrapbooks also hold material related to parishes where the Sisters lived and worked year round.

Scope and Contents
This sub-series starts with a list of Sisters who taught vacation schools in Westcliffe, Colorado, nearly every year from 1930 to 1965. Several news clippings relating to Our Lady of the Assumption appear next, including a 1945 story from The Southern Colorado Register about the summer school of religion. Some other documents revolve around the parish's establishment and how the Benedictine Sisters of Chicago became involved. Westcliffe is where the community taught its first vacation school...
