Alamosa, Colo., 1937 - 1991
This sub-series is primarily comprised of lists of Sisters who taught vacation schools in Alamosa, Colorado. The Benedictine Sisters of Chicago had a large presence in the town, especially earlier in the 20th century. A pamphlet about the history of the Sacred Heart Church, a copy of some pages from "Our Community," and an Archives Newsletter are also included.
Sister Arnoldine Schwarz, OSB correspondence, 1934-1982
This is a small collection of correspondence of Sister Arnoldine Schwarz, OSB. It begins with a note inscribed on a thin sheet of copper which Father Augustine Schwarz sent her from San Xavier del Bac mission in Tucson, Arizona and ends with several letters that Sister's family wrote to prioress Sister Ann Sharp, OSB after Sister Arnoldine's funeral in 1982.
